Cantiamo! Let’s sing! Become part of a choir ensemble and purchase a ticket in the SINGER category. Choose which voice section (soprano, alto, tenor, or bass) you would like to join. Together with us, you will perform selected sections from Orff’s cantata Carmina Burana. To take part in the performance, you will need to learn your part from the sheet music in advance. The number of places is limited.

WHERE WILL I BE STANDING WHILE SINGING?

The specific placement of voice sections in the balcony of the Dvořák Hall will be determined by the choir conductor at the first rehearsal. Therefore, you do not need to take the seat indicated on your ticket into account. Seats for non-singing audience members are located in the parterre.

WHERE CAN I GET THE SHEET MUSIC?

Please contact the Marketing and Communications Manager at michalkova@choir.cz, who will be happy to send you the sheet music in electronic format. You can then print out the part or save it to your tablet. Please note that, due to copyright restrictions, the sheet music may not be copied.

WHAT IF I CAN’T READ MUSIC?

To make learning easier, we will also provide recordings of the individual voice parts for you.

REHEARSALS

Please plan to attend the mandatory rehearsal on 12 October 2026 at the Rudolfinum, as well as the dress rehearsal on 13 October 2026 at the same venue. The rehearsals will be led by chief choir master and conductor Lukáš Vasilek. It is expected that you will already have your part securely prepared. The rehearsals will be conducted in Czech.

FURTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

All essential information and updates will be sent to your email address, which you provide when purchasing your ticket.

We look forward to seeing you!
