The Glagolitic Mass ranks among the most powerful spiritual compositions in music history. Written by the seventy-two-year-old Leoš Janáček in 1926 on Old Church Slavonic text in the spa town of Luhačovice. Under the direction of Semjon Byčkov, it will now resound at the renowned Carnegie Hall.

The concert is part of the Year of Czech Music project.
